Loan Officer Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate may currently/formerly be a loan officer and loves working the loan but doesn’t like to “go get new business”, and wants to know they will get paid every week. Also a processor or underwriter who likes talking to people and is burned out.

This candidate absolutely must know how to pull & analyze credit, review income & asset documents, have an understanding of how to structure a loan, have a general knowledge of Fannie Mae, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, run DU, stack & submit files, request & clear conditions and communicate incredibly with both borrowers, Realtors, and other business partners.

We are looking for a genuine team player who is excellent in communicating professionally with clients and is a steel-trap with following-through on tasks and assignments. You should be able to learn new skills and information needed to adapt to the ever-changing mortgage industry and have a self-motivated ability to “figure things out” along the way.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking Applications and entering files/uploading documents into the database – Send out needs list to client Follow up on needs list
  • Excellent tracking of the mortgage pipeline

  • Make sure closings happen on time and put out fires

Loan Partner

Job Description

Keystone Alliance Mortgage is looking for a Loan Partner. Someone who is a self-starter, an efficient multi-tasker, great with people, has a positive attitude and loves working with a team.

To be considered, you must have a minimum of one year of recent mortgage experience. Knowledge of LOS systems such as Calyx software or the ARIVE platform is a MAJOR plus. Candidate should have working knowledge of Government Loans (USDA, FHA and VA) and ability to analyze credit and desire to learn how to review income and asset documents. Impeccable phone skills with the ability and willingness to communicate with many different people to ensure a smooth transaction is a must. This includes borrowers, Realtors, underwriters, etc. You are a quick thinker and are able to independently think through and solve problems. You are great at follow-up. You pay attention to detail and stay on top of tasks with ease. Chances are, you’re an organization whiz and are good at taking notes and documenting conversations. You have excellent technical computer skills and are quick to learn your way through new software. Navigating Email, Word, Excel and Adobe should come naturally to you. You are quick to learn and eager to stay at the front of the pack.

Three major characteristics we are looking for are (1) a RECENT knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations and requirements for processing a file. (2) A strong technical background and the ability to navigate computer software well. (3) Knowledge of the processing requirements of different lenders, or the ability to learn on your own in a prompt fashion. The ideal candidate will have all three of these characteristics but at least two out of three for all other qualified candidates. This is a full-time position. Job Description

An Erie, PA Mortgage Team is looking for a Full-Time Loan Operations Assistant in our Erie or Meadville office. Someone who is a self-starter, an efficient multi-tasker, great with people, has a positive attitude and loves working would be the perfect candidate.

Other qualities we are looking for include that you LOVE talking to people and have impeccable phone skills. You are a quick thinker and are able to handle multiple scenarios at one time. You are great at follow-up. You pay attention to detail and stay on top of tasks with ease. You should be outgoing and easy to talk with.

This position will require you to make many calls throughout the day as well as assist in administrative tasks.

Experience in a bank or lending environment is ideal, but not required.
